You should never be the big blind twice in a row - you should never see (BB) over your head twice in a row. You could pay the same amount twice in a row if the blinds increase. For example, the blinds are 50/100, you're the BB, (BB) is over your head, you pay 100, then next hand the blinds increase to 100/200, you're the SB, (SB) is over your head, and you pay 100 again.

If you see (BB) over your head two hands in a row, tell me exactly when it happened, down to the minute, and I'll investigate.

You could see (SB) over your head two hands in a row in a ring game, but not in a tournament.

You could see two or more (BB)'s and/or (SB)'s in one hand in a ring game, but not in a tournament. In other words, there could be multiple players at the table with (BB) over their head, or multiple players at the table with (SB) over their head, at the same time, and that is ok.

Ahhh, thanks Mayor. I don't generally play ring games so seeing a multiple BB threw me for a loop. I suppose that it makes sense that it wouldn't be a priority on a ring game considering placement doesn't matter, people bet like donkeys, and getting wiped by a blind isn't a concern.

It's not about priorities, it's about players come and go in ring games, but not in tournaments.

You could be big blind twice I reacon. If 3 players leave a ring game making the last three all BB which I have seen. Then if nobody joins one of those players will be BB twice :steammocking:

A player joined though and became the BB but :steammocking:

No, even if you're technically BB twice in a row, you'll always pay SB if you paid BB last hand. You could pay SB twice in a row though.

Considering the blinds never change I suppose it's really not an issue. There's really no way increasing blinds would work on a ring game. Showing up to a first hand with a BB of 10K on a 100K table would kinda suck =)
