Report a translation problem
I checked by changing the output device to speaker or headset, but it's the same situation.
This issue is not one that has been reported by other users. My suggestion would be to verify the game audio is raised on your machine's volume mixer. If you still can't find a solution, please submit a ticket at https://help.jagex.com and our devs can attempt to assist.
It used to work before
I discovered a clue to confirm:
I almost always use Steam with big picture mode on my HDMI-connected television screen. By disconnecting it, I was able to discover that the ambient sound of the game works on the PC speakers. But I still don't understand, when I choose HDMI sound, why I hear the splash screen music on the television, then nothing.
This is the only software I have that behaves this way. I tried several things in the sound configuration on Windows but nothing could resolve this problem.
When I want to play on the television, I therefore have to make do with the sound from the computer speakers, which is off-center. It's a shame not to be able to enjoy the game in optimal conditions.
I hope you will take a good look at this bug.
Thank you anyway for this good game of poker.
Good day to you !
