[FIX] Solution for the message "Unable to connect to the server" (Win10 x64)

I formatted my computer and I got this message after clicking "Enter" at the login screen (when the game opens). After spending many hours looking for a solution on the internet, I didn't find it; so I started to try to fix it by myself and I found a solution. Here's the steps that I have done (if those steps helped you, consider help me donating some points please):

1 - Update Windows 10 until at least 20H2 (I'm using Education edition);

2 - Go to the folder "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Prominence Poker\Engine\Extras\Redist\en-us" (if you installed the game at the default folder, if not, search it by yourself) and install the software "UE4PrereqSetup_x64.exe";

3 - Install the "vcredist all-in-one package" found by googling it;

4 - Press Win+R, write "control" and press enter. Click on "Uninstall softwares", then click on "Add/remove Windows resources" (last link on the left);

PS: I don't know exactly what's written on this links, because I'm from Brazil, but I hope you got the idea and you'll find it.

5 - Enable "Telnet Client", "Simple TCPIP services (echo, daytime etc.)", "Linux for Windows subsystem" (this is the known WSL2), "SMB 1.0/CIFS", and "Windows Identity Foundation 3.5".

Restart the system and have a good game. Your Prominence Poker will work after that.

I have been blocked for long over a year, same problem as you described.
I exchanged with Tech on a thread that I made on the forum, and 2 or 3 mails with Tech, if I dig I'd find them (I never delete emails) none ever explained what you have done.

I did everything to the T, but I couldn't find "Linux for Windows subsystem"
and it doesn't work.
My Internet connection is via my mobile phone and it's the ONLY 1 game that doesn't let me connect.

I went back to this looking for (this is the known WSL2) if I had missed it.
The window that was giving me lots of options is now empty. Zero option at all, just an empty frame.

No, absolutely NOT!
I went through this before, and sent emails + screenshots and they said it was my mobilephone provider's fault.
1) mob company assured me the pb is not on there side.
2) I played the game on the same mobile, same sim card.
3) Amongst all my games, this is the only one that doesn't work
4) yes, I already nuked all 100% files and cash, and reinstalled the game

next time you answer me, why don't you tell me to buy a New PC.

I just played Arma 3, a 128GB game, via my mobile phone connection with zero lag, zero pb.

I hear you. It's up to you whether or not you want to reach back out, but our developers are here to help. Looking at the previous email ticket you had with them, it looks like what they theorized was it was either your cell phone data service or firewall settings on your PC.

Please be advised of the system requirements for Prominence Poker on PC. The minimum network requirements call for a broadband internet connection, which a mobile hotspot does not meet the requirements for.

What are the odds.........??!,
I bragged in here about playing ArmA 3 without one single problem and the very next day the game is broken, I just reinstalled 49GB and still broken!!!!
