Anyway - I could do 5 of these posts a day if I let it get to me. Your're a good player, we are all gamberling on that river card most of the time. I only got 7 rank points for first place by the way after 4-5hours. Lost 60 after.
There is a lot of bs in the game sometime I start to think the more risks I take the better the cards because ive seen people go all in 4 times then get a striaght flush or maybe the more rep a player gets during hands improves their chances of better cards later. Thats just me being wierd but we all think these things. Chin up mate.
"Ive noticed a change on table flops and the "magic" river since the last update. But yet, Im that guy who thinks if you have paid real money to play this game, your odds are better than those who dont pay. :parkmoney:"
If this is true, then this game is a joke. idk... maybe i try this Governor of Poker.. btw there will be a new one from poker stars.
@Ace: "sometime I start to think the more risks I take the better the cards " - this is something i think too sometimes. Like if i do the bet i have a better chance to get the last card i need for the win, feels strange sometimes, but maybe also just pure imagination.
Two of us just got knocked out to a high chip risk taking winner. Both of us had the same 3 of a kind none pocket pairs, and lost to his river card straight. Thats fked up.
That's completely untrue. Nothing gives you an edge over other players except being good at poker.
(When you see someone suggest this in the forums, it's because they've lost and refuse to believe it's due to their own poor play. Believing there's a conspiracy at work is comforting, but unrealistic.)
Getting beat? Sure. But I have amassed hundred of thousands of chips for free. I still continue to do so.
How could a card game with a standard RNG that hundreds of other poker games use somehow shift the odds due to "bad code" or intentional meddling? The math for simulating a 52-card deck is relatively simple, it's one of the first things taught to developers, and in this case the very core of the game. So I'd imagine it would be pretty important that they get it right.
I wasn't commenting on code changes. I was saying the idea that people who pay money in Prominence Poker have better odds at the tables is totally false.
Coded for Action! Well, just about every online poker game is doing it. I guess when its fishy, it smells.
Haha, I was very happy to get 7 tournaments in one night though. Was struggling to get one pre season. I beat two platnium players in h2h serveral times earlier last week so I cant really complain.
It would just be nice if there wasnt 10/20 flushes per game.
