Bachelor Day 4 - Sanitary Procedures [minor spoilers]

Although I've been trying to get by without a guide and mostly having a great time, this one stumped me, and the walkthroughs I've found haven't been much help either. So I need to test the water supplies at potential hospital/morgue locations. I discovered who sabatoged the system, got the keys to both the theater and the cathedral, spoke to the people outside each, and looked around the interiors with my plague vision whatsis. In the cathedral I filled my empty bottles at one of the fountains, but the ones outside of the theater didn't work, and I couldn't find anything of interest inside or out except a locked hatch around back (which couldn't be picked). Returned to both the elder and younger Vlads but I seem to have missed something. I'm positive I just didn't read everything closely enough or misunderstood something or am being obtuse, or perhaps a bug? What exactly does "inspecting the sanitary viability" entail here?

That's strange. As soon as I got both keys, I was able to give them to the old Vlad and the quest was completed. I didn't even look inside those buildings, because I was short on time.

Right on, thanks for clearing that up! I went back and reloaded a save and... my dang inventory was full. I never picked up the second key. Which, fair enough.

On the plus side though, yeah, that gives me some much needed time to run errands and rifle through some trash cans

I had the same problem, this must be a bug. In my case I solved it from the game console.

- Open the console (key `)
- Find the ID of your player by typing "id_player". In my case (Bachelor) it was 6986.
- And then get the 2 keys with the following lines (Also in my case):
additem 6986 d4q01_sobor_key 1
additem 6986 d4q01_theater_key 1

Then you can talk with Vlad :)

I don't have the key ` on my keyboard, what can I press to activate the game console?

No idea. I've made a fast search and ` seems to be the only key. You may try with ~ or the key under Esc, they are usually console openers.
