Avoid using your shmowders at this point in the game, because people might still fall sick later, and should you fail a daily quest, your own bound are more important than the others. Also, sick adherents will never actually die. The best solution at this point is to ignore whoever falls sick. If you need to talk to a sick adherent for the main quest or a sidequest, you can give some antibiotics to the Executor at the door. One dose of either Monomycinum or Feromycinum (the orange and purple antibiotics, anyway - the blue ones won't work) will allow you to speak to an infected adherent until midnight of that day.
Orange antibiotics are better - cheaper, and also easy to find on trade from children and teens. As far as I can tell, purple antibiotics give no extra benefits in this regard.
By the way: shmowders effects are text flavor. If you use them on yourself, they will cure the infection and severely damage your health, but nothing that some sleep or bandages won't fix. If you use them on the adherents, they are simply cured of the infection.
