Yeah it caught me off-guard too! ... says in the middle-bottom. Shift + mouse-wheel.

Yeah. Shift + mouse wheel. It might be better if they just changed it to work with 'either' button. That way people without a middle mouse button could use another key like shift.

Rotating things is different in every game. No, you're not stupid.

Shift + mouse wheel. It said it on the screen (not in the tutorial box) during the tutorial. Easy to miss. You're not stupid :)

Hi everyone, for now the only way to rotate buildings is "Shift + mouse wheel.
But we will add another key/shortcut for that with the next update.

There might be a bug with Mac OS but I cant get my buildings to rotate with my scroll wheel. I've tried updating drivers and everything. I think we might need hotkey access to change what works on what keys. I just bought the game and already my 1st building cant be used right lol.

Hi anecwolf,

we are basically already done working on this issue and it will definitely be released with the next patch altough we can't yet say when we can actually go live with it yet.
ok, sorry to bump a stale thread, but I just got around to getting into Outlanders on Steam. Playing the demo until payday, but I am running into a similar situation. I have tried to use SHFT+Mouse Wheel to rotate buildings as I place them and it does not work. Is there perhaps another way to rotate buildings as I place them?
