Tips for Success

As a new player myself (started in October), I want to offer you all some tips for when you venture into the world of Florensia! This post offers only the most basic of tips so explore the florum to learn more!

Let's get started:

1) Talk to people in the game and get to know them to a level where you can form some sort of friendly relationship. Most people are more than willing to help you out but you have to make the effort. As a result of such communication, I've made quite a few good friends and found myself fitting in well in a guild, too.

2) Sea navigation and combat may take some time to master. I know I've struggled quite a bit with my ship, but remember to get at least lv 20 sea for equipment later on in the land lv 60s.

3) You will see a lot of people selling cash shop items (yes, they are expensive) but don't worry. You can enjoy this game without ever stepping into the shop. However, to earn a good amount of money, look at what people are selling and buying. Ask around and you'll find valuable answers.

4) Movement is slow. You will feel like getting from point A to B takes forever, but look at memory stones located throughout the field maps and save your point there. That way, you can instantly use the stones from the grocery merchant to teleport instantly to the saved location. In addition to memory stones, if you can get a movement speed buff, that'll be of great help!

5) Use the chat functions to get assistance for bosses, quests, trading, etc. You'd be surprised when the chat seems empty and someone says "hi," suddenly the quiet ones awaken. :)

6) Upgrading items are not hard to collect but upgrading is tough at times. I've lost an item due to upgrading to +4 but even +3 is easy enough to obtain and it's sufficient for leveling.

7) The game is simple and there is more to be modified and added. I have to say I enjoy the simplicity and community. After all, it's what makes a game great and I've played many in the past but Florensia retains its charm (even the old players have remade their characters which shows their dedication to the game).

Finally...be patient. It will only make your life and others' lives easier as well. Also, don't make fun of the GIF staff's English. :(
