Mapul's recovery.
I want to know if people agree but Mapul's recovery seems really lack luster. Yeah she has her teleport but that's perdicable and requires you to hit you openent before hand with nutral specal or side special. And if you try and recover without it you'll be disapointed by two things. One: Her up-special does not go anywhere on it's own. Two vary predicable and easy to edge guard.
That's my Two cense anyway.

I am a Maypul main, and I don't complain about her recovery at all. It's just as good as anyone elses. If you're knocked off:

Jump, R-L towards wall, Side-Special, Hug the wall while holding "JUMP", then let go, and Up-B. If you're too far down, after letting go of "JUMP", Up-A to get higher up.

Yes maypul has a recovery issue. If you watch the alpha build vids played by the playtesters you'll realize she can be very good despite this (these are all over youtube). You have to just be very careful when playing maypul. Make sure they're always seeded and don't waste that advantage or you'll pay for it. I avoid the ledges when I play this character to avoid this very problem.

Hopefully this helps.
If not, comment again and i'll try to be more thorough.

Another thing to keep in mind is that, when grappling, you can choose on which side of the enemy to end up, by holding in that direction after activating the grapple (except down- you can't end up below). So, if you see your opponent is looking to edgeguard you with a forward strong attack, you can grapple behind him and answer with something like a down strong attack, for example. I suspect that won't work in all cases, though, since some strong attacks' hitboxes are too wide. But then, you can also cling to walls to stall out charged strong attacks. So, I think Maypul has as least as many recovery options as anyone else. Probably above average, actually.

Maypul actually probably has one of the best recoveries, since she has both a horizontal and a vertical recovery move, and a wall cling. That still doesn't make her recovery "amazing", but few recoveries are amazing in this game.
