Do games you buy as gifts show up in your activity feed?

Yes I've bought plenty of games for friends and they never showed up in the Activity feed. They do show up in your inventory though, but you can go into your privacy setttings and theres an option to hide the Gifts in your inventory.

I believe they DO show up in your friends activity feed as them owning it once they accept. However as far as I saw there's no mention on activity feed that it was as a gift.

Nothing will show up in your activity feed. In your friend's activity feed, it will show up exactly the same as if they bought the game themselves.
