FPS Drops
Does anyone else drop frames on this game? My pc is easily capable of running this game (Ryzen 5 3600 & RX 5700 XT, the game sits around 8% cpu usage and 3% gpu usage while playing) but I still drop below 60 fps on occasion. Usually seems to drop to around 50 for half a second or so. It's super irritating because the game just eats your inputs when it drops frames. Local frame skip seems to stop the game from eating inputs, but that's obviously not a fix for online. Vsync doesn't help, neither does putting the game in "high priority" through windows. I'm playing in fullscreen mode. I usually play on the workshop beta version, but the issue still happens in vanilla.

Hey! Did you ever manage to sort this issue out? I've just bought the game and I'm having the exact same problem. Thanks!

No, nothing seemed to fix the issue. Guess I'll have to wait for RoA 2 ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I have the same issue. Game stays around 50 fps, rarey hits 60. I'm using the same CPU and GPU as you. The issue started about one week ago and I haven't found a fix yet.

In my case, fixing the issue of the game (mostly) capping at 50 FPS instead of 60 was done by changing settings for the game in the NVIDIA Control Panel: I changed Max Frame Rate to 60, Power management mode to 'Prefer maximum performance' and Vertical sync to Off. (But it's entirely possible that not all of those were needed, I just didn't bother to change anything once it was working)

I have this issue with a Ryzen 9 5950x and a Radeon 6750xt it's even worse for me since the game straight up slows down (like 10 FPS or something) for a solid few moments as well

I'm only playing offline with friends I wouldn't wanna imagine how it'd be online

What fixes it for me is pressing alt+enter to switch between windowed and fullscreen. I don't have the issue at all when playing windowed.
