How to move so fast

Well im kind of new (10 hours) i play with controller, and I see streams of this game and they move quite fast no... amazingly fast and they play with controller tooo! sometimes i get those people in ranked but they are gold. Can anyone teach me how to move fast like that or what do i do to my controller.

the tutorial will teach you all of these basic movement options. it's up to you to figure out how to use them effectively through experimentation.

its actually quite easy to do, for wavedashing, first you jump, then fast fall, after that, instantly (but not the FIRST frame of fast falling) and finally, move your joystick to the right or left bottom corner (or just the left or right if you prefer that) or for keyboard hold s and d (or just d), and air dodge into the ground, dash dancing, you just move fowards, and when your enemy attacks, move the opposite direction of the enemys facing, and look face front back at the enemy, then punish.

This! Very much this! Generally, I don't use those moves much, but I guess it works wonderously if one is a pro or a speedrunner.
