Gamecube Controller not working

So I got this game, followed these steps http://m4sv.com/page/wii-u-gcn-usb-driver , and my gamecube controller was working. After restarting my computer it stopped. When I go into the GCNUSBFeeder and click start it say GCN Adapter not detected. I have the official adapter and my driver for the controller is up to date. I have tried reinstalling all of it and it still doesnt work. Anyone else had this problem? Any suggestions? Thanks

Just put together a guide on this with info from Massive: http://aetherboards.com/forums/threads/1648

Make sure you're using the black USB cable and that your port is working if for some reason it won't detect your adapter.

Now I know this isnt your fault, but I think I found my problem. The GCNUSBFeeder works when it is first installed and started. After I press stop and start later, it will not detect the adapter. I can get it to work again by going into my task manager and finding the process and stopping it. Then, when I re-open the progam it will detect it. Thanks for replying, because without it I wouldnt have tried again.
