When facing clairen, never ho directly for the stage. That an open "SMASH ME!". Instead, try to reach the wall just under the border, walljump to up spe. That way, if you opponent came to smash your face with a strong attack, it's PUNISH TIME!
Ori (my second main)
Most of the player abuse the "dashbash" strat. When i see an ori, i mentaly prepare to cut his animation with a projectile in case he start dash (don't work with all projectiles!) , or jump to down air as punishment for this behavior
Otherwise... i guess training to parry and dodge should be good?
And my tips are far from been the best. I just gave you some basic things i learned from play, maybe i did not meet the same kind of player than you, which would explain why the differences.
For the up b problrm, if you see him back, you could maybe use your dodge to evade or go on the stage? Just idea, may not be the best in some case tought...
