So hard to find players online now

Nowadays, every time I'm online, I rarely ever find players to go up against. I'm usually in the lobby for a very long time.

If this is because of Steam Workshop then, something needs to be done about it. Either make custom characters playable online (with limits of course), or add some kind of new feature for online play that will bring more people to the servers.

Seriously, this is a big issue for the game.

I've never really encountered problems finding people? I play a lot of casual matches these days, so unless you're talking about a different online mode, I don't know what you're talking about.

Maybe it has to do with playing people only from your region or something.

Considering Rivals is P2P this is more likely

if youre trying to find matches on the workshop branch.... dont. most people will be using that branch to either play locally or play friends to use the workshop characters. public workshop is still most likely far away since the dev team is working far more important matters.

I think that might be the problem actually.

Make an open lobby system like Smash Ultimate but better with the option to turn on/off custom characters and send messages.
