Rivals of Aether
Is it possible to play 2v2 with a friend online?
Creating a 2v2 match only lets me invite one friend (so no 2v2s with 3 people), and it locks them to the enemy team so we have to play against eachoter vs CPU opponents.

Is there no way to team up with someone online as a duo team?
And make private matches for 4 people?

Huh feels weird that you can't at least make lobbies for more than 2 people.

What up Petralicious, small world huh xD?
What Zombie said. Game only has 1v1 at the moment. Though I (and others) would love a 4 player mode.

You can in local, but yeah, local players, that doesn't exist.

Also sorry but who are you

Exactly.

Hmm, since my name isn't ringing a bell, I'm gonna assume other people use Petralicious as thier name or we chatted outside of Steam, if again, that wasn't another Petralicious. My bad xD

I've never seen anyone use this, but I did get the pun name off of a webcomic, so who knows.

Although maybe I've seen you in the TFH forums..? Or someone else with a Felix picture.
My memory is horrible and I may very well be imagining things.

unfortunately, no. the multiplayer is entirely peer to peer - something major game studios have issues with properly developing for cooperative games, let alone an indie fighting game company. hence why the developers used a plugin/toolkit/etc. from Code Mystics to set up the online play.

You could try Parsec with your friend.
