So, about Shovel Knight.
I've been playing for about three days now, and I expected to see many players using Shovel Knight, but I have yet to face a single one. Is he difficult to play as or not that good? Or what? I'm also asking this because I may end up purchasing his DLC eventually.

Well... considering that his neutral special do nothing but pull his coins until you purchase an item (non armor)... he suffet from that i suppose

I just fought 2 Shovel Knights today, one I managed to beat but the other one won 2 in a row, I really got caught by surprise due to his anchor attack, I think the character looks awesome! I did manage to hit each one while they were doing their purchases though, so I can see what you meant about the coin thing. I'm still getting it during the next paycheck.

Nah mate people like charcters that are ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ like Zettarburn Clairen and Ranno that can 3 stock you in 1 minute becuse of their fast and super strong attacks or maybe just alot of rivals fans dont know shovel knight

magicarp, i don't agree with what you say. I am an Ori main, Shovelknight ranno and clairen only been side step for me. sure, clairen has easy to learn combo. sure, ranno's bubble can be a pain to deal with. SURE, Zetter's burn make his strong attack stronger... BUT Shovel knight has the versatility the other lack thanks to his ability to buy items to either make himself harder to hit, able to strong mid air (things that non can do other than the stupid bird) and change his neutral special.

sure, Clairen has a longer base rang, but so do shovel. both are (almost) projectile less character, yet bodying a rock spamming kragg is delightfull with either of those character... and Trust me, I KNOW WHAT I AM SPEAKING OF.

Shovel Knight's strong mid air impressed me a lot last time I fought him! I can't wait to try him out :-)
