Xbox One Controller Setup?
So literally nowhere on the Internet does it explain this, so I've come here since I know this kind of setup is popular for Rivals.

So my PC doesn't even try to connect to my controller when I connect it via USB. The controller vibrates and nothing else happens-- Doesn't say it's connected anywhere or anything.
The drivers for the Xbox One Controller don't exist anywhere on my PC, so they're obviously not installed, and my Windows 10 and controller are both up to date. All links on the Internet for Xbox One drivers have been removed because "Windows 10 automatically installs them!"-- Which is a f*cking lie.

Everyone online just says "connect it" but it doesn't connect. Need possible solutions? I was able to connect my Xbox One controller just fine earlier this year to play Rivals with it, but now I just can't.

Definitely odd that Windows buried those drivers. You might need to do it through the Xbox Accessories Win10 app. This is the general page for connecting a controller:

https://support.xbox.com/en-US/xbox-on-windows/accessories/connect-xbox-one-controller-to-pc#H1

and here is where I found specific instructions for updating drivers on PC:
