How can i level up faster in abyss mode? / Alguien sabe como subir de nivel rapido en Abyss mode?

Hi, i want to get the achieviement to unlock a map, but i want to know if there is a way to get exp faster, cuz lvling up every character is really hard, oh well, not hard, but need a lot of time, do you know anything? / En resuemn, quiero saber si alguien conoce una forma rapida de subir de nivel porque quiero desbloquear el ultimo mapa que me falta.

play with more friends locally to get more exp.

well. here is a trick:
1) level up one character to lv 9, nearly level 10
2) go into your %appdata%
3) on the search bar click appdata
4) click local
5) click RivalOfAether
6) click saves
7) open progression.ini into your noteblock/ notepad pogram
8) edit the data so that the other character are at the same level (level 9, near level 10). don't modify the data for dlc characters (ori, clairen, ranno) as it will make your game crash, those character are in fact unable to join the abyss mode for now!
9) next time you launch the game with internet activated, tell that you want your data from pc to be uploaded to your stream cloud, otherwise you will have to start again!

That the only way i found to get all my characters nearly max level while playing only Absa. i know it's a bit a hacker thing, but i didn't want to waste year to have the full cast max level

What I did was hook up a bunch of extra controllers and select characters for them. Then, I protected these "Bots" while I could, for 1 character, reap all the EXP harvest for all 4 .

That's not a trick, that's straight up cheating. If you have no problem cheating, that's fine. But that's different from a "trick." Stop kidding yourself.

the definition of a trick isn't a concrete thing in this case. cheating can be considered a trick so its not inaccurate

a trick is, by definition, something you can do within the confines of the game itself. You're free to use some other understanding of trick, but you're fooling yourself if you think editing the save data is a "trick" and not just outright cheating. Again, feel free to cheat. You do you. But stop lying to yourself about what you're doing.

im not saying its not cheating im just saying cheating can be considered "a trick" unless you're getting this from some sort of official definition i don't know about that says otherwise

semantics aside, i think most people unlock the abyss stuff by modifying progression.ini because it's honestly such a grind to get to level 10 with 8 characters that i can't imagine more than a handful of people have done it legit.

i'm surprised that nobody within 3 years has actually given any tips to progression in this thread, i mean out of all 1.1% of people who have the achievement, nobody went looking for tips/tricks to (legitimately) get level 10, and nobody went back and made a more popular post describing how to? (unless there's a guide or something idk) I'm almost done getting all 14 characters to max level and its only taken me about a week or so of on and off grinding (usually i can get a character to 10 in the same day i start) but if anybody actually needs any tips for grinding, here:

1. go for the most OP rune combos you can, sounds basic but it really helps especially if you're bad with a character, just look through their runes and try some combos out

2. use runes that help you kill, anything that makes a basic attack kill a weak enemy is good

3. throw yourself at it till you get level 10, doesn't matter if you don't know a character well or if you suck with them, just keep getting as much xp as possible

4.get assistance from a friend, if you're both playing the same character, you can easily grind way faster because of the increased number of xp rocks

5. get the gatekeepers to do your work for you, if there's an enemy for them to shoot, they might as well be shooting at them rather than you so bait their shots into them and profit!

6. the obelisk can almost always be destroyed if you just try hard enough, even if its the last second and you want to bail, don't! if you destroy it, more xp! and if you don't, you only die if you're at a high enough percent

7. get a good workshop buddy, (kinda cheating i know but eh) universal ice climbers, giant character, anything that changes something about you (for the better) is a good thing

8. don't die

(hope this helps anyone who wants more legitimate tips) :D
