I Need Help with Story Mode Final Boss

I hit everything, from the Eyes, to the Ground, to the purple rivals, but no matter how much I do, I Can't seem to beat it! I can't tell if I'm even doing any meaningful damage, yet some people I saw on the leaderboards cleared it in less than a minute! Please help!

The purple symbols on the stage are the bosses health bar. Hitting the shadows into the eyes is the best way of beating the boss.

If you repeatedly up-air one of the eyes, you'll notice the boss's health (the reddish rune on the front of the stage floor) begin to deplete quickly. You get extra damage for parrying attacks (especially the giant purple orb that falls from the sky) and knowcking shadow rivals into the eyeballs.

The red runes on the stage are its life bar. Keep hitting it and do the things the other people said and it'll die eventually.

I just want to know what the secret to beating it in 40 seconds is.

If you're not trying to gold medal it, take your time. Not getting hit is way more important than hitting. When the eyes start to glow, that's your cue to back off and see what they're about to do. Also, to avoid that one attack that covers the entire stage, go off-stage and come back on once it's over. Don't forget you have an airdodge and walljump, not just your doublejump and uspecial.

Since you can use the whole cast, use all the cheese with every character
-every character: spam up air
-zetteburn: dont ever use your up special, unless you need it. Neutral special as a "get off me" and set all those "clones" on fire to increase thier knockback and smash em into the eyeballs
- orcane: always have a puddle down, try some up strongs on puddles to hit the eyes, if they go too high up just up air 'em
- forsburn: get a full smoke boosted clone up ASAP, if you neutral special and then immediately down special you cancel most of the move, remember kids, dont listen to your parents, smoking lets you create smoke clones!
- wrastor: get in the air and clap your wings to da beat!
-kragg: pillar to down strong all those clones, use your forward air and kick the everloving ♥♥♥♥ out of the eyes, also, throw rocks
-maypul: clones are your friend, always have one seeded, spam up air and maybe vines

If you look at the floor you fight on, there are these little red runes along the top. That's actually the health bar of the boss. Hitting the floor or the eyes or knocking a summoned Rival out will reduce it a bit, it definitely takes a while and is pretty hard to do.

And uh... I have no idea how people are doing it in 40s. I'm assuming they are going Maypul and then planting Lily and using it to hit the eyes? But I really don't know how they are doing it TBH.

Lily cant reach the eyes, and lilly goes away once she attacks, probably using kragg with some sort of exploit
