DRM Free?
Will this game ever be released DRM free? I'm interested but prefer DRM free based games. Anyone have insight on this?

The game is already DRM free, but some of the functionalities like drone sharing or online sumo tournaments requires to be logged into your Steam account. In the future we will perhaps create a version that doesn't use any steam features.

I mean a solution to that would to be to technically allow players to download say a drone "blueprint" and or a competitors drone (basically same as blueprint). Think of reassembly, and how players swap competitor data. I forgot how because i haven't played it for a while, but the same concept. You'd copy a folder with another players prebuilt units to either blueprint, or to fight against in a autonomous manner.

You can import and export your drones from and to *.drn files. There is a button on the drone selection screen.
This way you can send it to your friend and he can battle against it. We did some tournaments this way, where all people could send us drones nad we let them fight.

But the Tournament only works when logged into steam otherwise it will pick AI drones as enemies.

ahh okay, so it works similar to how Reassembly did their tournament but yours requires the steam module. I see you don't allow users to host their own mini servers for this feature, which would then allow multiplayer. I assume this is a component that wont be implemented for the future of this game, because of the scale of reworking that would be done to make the game compatable. Edited, as i seen it does support mods after buying it, thank you in advance.

A quick note on mods:
Currently we don't officially support mods. This is the work of our awesome player community. Because we focus heavily on improving the game, we can't make sure that each mod will work after an update. Therefore use mods at your own discretion. So far we haven't announced anything yet about official mode support. Thank you for your understanding :)

I wouldnt expect devs to make things work with how their game changes. I assume mod devs update their own work for compatibility with the new code. Like what factorio devs and mods have done. Thank you for clarification guys
