I'd send you the crash files (if there even are any) but since there was no popup at all I don't have the slightest idea where to look for them.
@Snow - oh man, that definitely shouldn't happen. Adding that to our list of things to keep looking into. Can you do us a favor and run the game in windowed mode, and open Task Manager to watch while you play? Watch the Memory tab and tell us how much Close Order is using before and during the crash.
Sorry y'all have had frustrating experiences -- our little game never got as much attention and people playing as it is right now, so we're getting a lot of issues we never knew about. We'll fix them though!
Is there any way to hand out to you the files that Origin generates as a bug report?
Look in the main folder of the game. There's a folder labeled with the date of the bug or crash.
Hand out the files to info@raconteurgames.com
Looks like you answered that in the next post :) Thanks for the extra info!
There is no crash folder in my game directory so I guess the initial crash didn't have time to register as such. So nothing to send.
This is another issue that we're trying to diagnose. So to confirm - you get stuck at the black screen that says "The Great Library" and can hear the sounds in the background, but it never actually starts?
Could you try playing in windowed mode and see if it still does it?
It was just a question to read carefully the head of the post, sometimes we're in a rush and we don't see that.
Responded in the other thread about this - we'll keep looking to see why that's happening, thanks for the feedback! :)
