For me, the best character (solo or co-op) is with difference John Morgan. Fair amount of life, hit hard, and every Z is like a healthpack when you have high levels.

No it do not makes the game harder. You can import your character lvl, but not his/her inventory.

Hmm do you think it is worth restarting from high level Logan to John Morgan?

It depends. Every character has their own flavour. If you're getting fun playing with captain boomerang it's ok. Every char has it's strong and weak points. When you got bored always can switch to other character.

Of course it makes the game harder, you import a level 60 character, and the zombies hit like freight trains starting right off, but you have jack all for equipment, have to start that aspect all over.

Not that this is a reason not to import, but it is much harder than starting off with a noob character

No, it is not. The moment you aquire colored weapons in lvl 60 you can take out Z's effortlessly. You can pick some molotovs where Chimanda is having in the early stages of the game a good group "weapon" dealer, so you can find easily weapons of your level. Z's hit hard? sure. but they are at your level or perhaps 1 or 2 above but that doesn't make the game harder "per se". If you wanna play just add me i'll gladly play with you.

Purna purely for the rage with guns and reloading speed but that's more end game. Logan is always good if you can get decent knives with boomerang, John Morgan is a straight upgrade from Sam B.
