Can not write to game folder.

Hi Guys, I just got this game for free and when I am going to launch it , it says Can not write to game folder. you don't have write permission. I tried everything, watch youtube, read other steam users that had the same problem as me, but still nothing. any ideas what should I do to fix this stupid error?

General Fixes, just replace the "Dying Light" with "Dead Rising." This is, of course, assuming windows 10 or 11 is your OS

"The first fix is to give the game’s exe the admin rights. Right-Click on Dying Light’s exe > properties > Compatibility tab > check “run this program as an administrator”. Apply the change and the error will be fixed.

In case the above fix didn’t work, open Windows Security > Firewall & Network Protection > Advanced settings. Players need to allow Dying Light through both Inbound and Outbound rules.

After that, locate the game’s install folder > right-click > properties > uncheck “read-only” and apply it. This will fix the Cannot Write in Game Folder error with Dying Light.

If the issue still persists, then open Windows Security > Virus & Threat Protection > click “Manage Ransomware Protection” > turn off “Controlled Folder Access”. This will fix the Dying Light “cannot write in game folder” error."

I just find out how to fix it, just press right click on onedrive icon in the taskbar> press on more> go to settings> go to backup> just disable the backup. that's it.
