Also, in the recommended and minimum specs, it states that laptop graphics cards may work but are not supported.
Which means you probably wont get much if any support for issues when using a Laptop GPU.
And a GTX 960 can handle the DE's just fine, though shadows may kill performance a bit.
And the best thing to do is to DEFAULT the settings in the NVIDIA Control panel, not all games like having forced settings.
Exactly. I'm on GTX960 and the game runs perfectly all on high with VSync on.
you can try to force using Nvidia GPU. Here how to do it:
1. Open the Windows Start Menu
2. Enter “Nvidia control panel” into the Search field and run it
3. Select “Manage 3D Settings” from the option in the left-hand panel
4. Add and select "Dead Island Riptide" to change the graphics processor for Dead Island Riptide software unde "Select a program to customize".
5. Select your NVidia graphics card under "preferred graphics processor" instead of the default “auto-select”.
Hey Piotrek, do you plan to release any patches? Game got lots of problems right now, for example - messed up sound when you can hear zombies all the time, even if they are far away from you, or glitches with player's respawn in places that you shouldn't be able to access.
