How to fix Window size?

Kinda fun semi-4X game. Problem I have with it, though, is that the window size always shrinks whenever I need to access a different window or some automatic CPU process occurs. Anybody know a solution to this?

I personally don't know of any way to prevent this; alt-tabbing out of the game always puts it into a tiny window for me too. But Alt + Enter is a quick DOSBox shortcut for changing to fullscreen again. I generally try to avoid alt-tabbing while playing old DOS games. :P You could also see if there's a way to run it as a window, but a larger, more usable window? I think there should be DOSBox settings for achieving that, though I don't remember right now.

Thanks for the Alt+Enter tip. Though it's a game run through Steam, so would running it from DosBox app even work?

It already runs from the DOSBox app; that's what I meant. :P Old games like this, when they become available from Steam, often come with their own DOSBox emulator bundled with them. It's the only way to get them to run on a modern computer without rewriting them from scratch, I am guessing.

You'll find a "dosbox.conf" file that already exists if you use Steam to navigate to the game's local files. I used to play around with the settings in there (see, e.g., https://steamcommunity.com/app/383100/discussions/0/530645961937890256/), though sadly I don't remember anything that'd be directly relevant to your question. :(
