Has anyone gotten cheats to work on the OSX version? I've seen lots of cheats posted on the web but I can't seem to get them to work. Specifically I'm trying the infinite arrowhead cheat.

I think the cheats only work on the Xbox and PS2 version. Sorry to burst your bubble.

I can verify that, indeed, the Steam version does not have cheats on any os. There is a save editor here http://www.cheathappens.com/10653-PC-Psychonauts_cheats#isMisc and you might have some luck with trainers floating around the internet, but depending on how much they changed the .exe for the Steam release they may not work.

Actually I got the cheats to work for this game. I even posted it on the old school forums. Here I will post it again.

I can verify that, indeed, the Steam version does have cheats, it's just that the in-game Steam Overlay triggered by pressing TAB+Shift bindings must be changed in order to activate them.
Cheats must have LShift and Mouse2 held down while executing them, and some cheats require you press tab.
Also, I'm not sure about cross-OS cheats, it may just be optimized for windows.
