Raz is a floating head

I am running Psychonauts on a machine running Ubuntu 12.04. When I arrive at the main menu Raz is just his face and is lacking a body. He moves around properly and I am able to load my file but Raz continues to look exactly the same.

Sure. Just so you know Psychonauts was running fine on my previous install of Ubuntu 12.04 on this same hardware. I reinstalled Ubuntu 12.04 recently and it seems I am having software (lack of) problems.
