How to Cheat! (in this game revised)

I posted this on the older forums, but hey why not share it here as well? As of writing June 2013 these codes WILL work and I tested them myself. (edit as of Sept 2015 tested again, they still work)

There is a way to cheat on this game using button commands. I just thought I would like to share. It uses the PS2/xbox cheat layout, you just have to do it with the mouse and keyboard.

First of all, it's easier if you set control bindings to default. This guide will ONLY use bindings to default, SAVE FOR THE TAB BUTTON!!. As we all know holding shift and tab on steam brings up the community. So Set tab "stats" key binding to something else. Also first person button conflicts with another button, so we gotta change that too.

To simplify.
Default your controls.
Change Stats to R
Change first person to G
Do these codes super fast with game NOT paused.

You NEED to hold down "Left Shift" and "Right Mouse button" (at the same time) while entering these codes as fast as you can. Slow button pressing will not work.

All Psi powers
X, X, F, E, [R], F

All Psi powers upgraded
[R], [G], [R], E, X, E

Full ammunition.
[G], Space, [R], [R], F, X

Full arrowheads.
Space, [G], [G], E, F, Left Mouse Button

Full lives.
[R], E, E, X, Space, [G]

Global items except for Psi Colorizer and Dream Fluffs.
[G], X, E, E, [R], F

Anything with [ ] is something you had to have changed.

Yes I know "cheating ruins this great game" and I will agree. But one night my friends watched me play this entire game, and they were laughing so hard. Problem is, I needed cheats because they wouldn't enjoy me grinding for hours to get all this. So in my opinion cheats the first time through is a horrible thing, cheating a second or third time around, then ok.

Tried these and none of them worked. Is there some sort of cheat entering screen you have to get to first that you didn't mention?

Nope you do this while playing the game, without pausing. You did change the tab key to something else, and made sure "First Person view" was set to the middle mouse wheel button? What's more you do need to hold down the left shift and right mouse button while you enter these quick like. It does work.

Some of the 100% achievement hunters and card collectors will love you now for sure mate. May their lust for achieving greater things be easier to appease with those "Sheats".

Actually I posted this before the card thing, and technically before the achievments on the old school forum. Still I wanted to post this for the people who play the game over and over again, and remembering that one night when I showed my friends. Also, it was damn hard trying to figure out how the cheats actually worked. That was trial and error, not looking it up elsewhere.

Oh, does it absolutely have to be middle mouse? I had first person set to z and was pressing z where you said to press middle mouse. Should that cause it to not work?

You know... I have no idea. That is a very good question, the problem is I already have all the achievments so I can't honestly tell.

Unless I'm supposed to type at the speed of light, these codes are wrong.

They work, but you're either not using the right keys or not inputing them in fast enough.
I used these and they work. I used a Logitech controller for this game and even tried it with the keyboard.

Try punching them in faster, trust me.. I had to push buttons faster than expected :D

I typed as fast as humanly possible. The game expects me to be some kind of robot that types at literally the speed of light.

lol, I know how you feel. If you're pushing buttons at the speed of light, make sure your pushing the right buttons! I can assure you that they work because when it goes through it yells, "You cheated!"

It's literally impossible to type fast enough while you're holding down two other buttons.

Adjust your keys to other spots. I had to do that via keyboard. It's best to have a controller, but work with what'cha got ;)

I had to compare the keys to the original functions. It's best to know what you're pushing. I'm sure the keys you're pushing are wrong. The Steam version is modified from the original game keys. So compare them to know what keys you are supposed to be pushing. I had to research this and it did take me a while to figure out that I WAS pushing the wrong keys. In the end, I mapped my keys and got them to work.
