Crashes at launch

Whenever I launch the game now, it doesn't show up on my desktop, but I can still hear the audio. I'm running it with Windows 95 compatability. Anyone know how to fix it? I've had the problem with Borderlands 2, aswell. But I just had to run it windowed. Is there a way I can launch this windowed?

Go to: \Games\Steam\SteamApps\common\Psychonauts

Open DisplaySettings.ini with a text editor.

Change FullScreen to FullScreen=false.

I don't see the DisplaySettings.ini in my Pyschonauts folder. Any idea why some people are having this problem on their PC's? Been trying to play for weeks, and haven't been able to open it.

You can manually create the file.

1. Create that series of folders (if not already there).
2. Open Notepad and paste this:

[DisplaySettings]
ScreenWidth=800
ScreenHeight=600
FullScreen=false
VSync=true
FSAA=true
FSFX=true
AdvancedShading=true
Shadows=true
GammaCorrection=1.000000

3. Save that file as DisplaySettings.ini.
