i am curious do we even need the patch thing to make a 360 controller to work i mean i cant seem to figure out how to make a controller work on the game at all yet it says it has partial controller support anyone want to fill me in on this i mean wireless controller i never hav problems figureing out how to make it work with a game

Nah you shouldn't need the patch to make it so the controller works, the only thing the patch does is change the icons to xbox 360 icons to make it easier to play with the controller.

Partial Controller Support means that not all of the menus work with a controller. The graphics settings, controls, and sounds menus can only be navigated with a mouse. That is about it.
