i hated it mostly becuse the first half is a escourt mission where you cant let something die, and the second part is a timed parkour where you have to avoid the rising water, and then theres 2 bosses (the bosses was ok) but that leave no room to stop and smell the (meat) flowers. it just feels like your being rushed through the whole level.

basicly everything in the tent is annoying. like i know its supost to be the big finale but it realy feels out of place compared to the rest of the game where the object is to explore and figure out whats up. becuse the meat level is so straight foward and (as far as i can tell) not fun or funny like the rest of the game . the part is all action and no comedy i think(unless you think meat is funny).

Yeah I had a hard time with it, but it wasn't that bad for me. I guess it could have been designed better though.

Despite it being the last level in the game, I am still excited to try it... I played an hour or so and farted around the start of the game, a couple months back.. Other things came up and Psychonauts was put on the back burner..

I have heard nothing but good things about this game and made that post mostly as a joke.. "For teh lulz" and all that.

the meat circus was a massive pain.....
the first time i played this game i rage quitted and never got to finish psychonauts cause of this level!
i did finish it today though!
and i think it took me 3 hours lol

They actually made it a LITTLE bit easier for the PC release. They made it so that if you fell into the rising water or fell into a gap at any point, you just respawned nearby with a little bit of loss to health, whereas in the original you would lose an entire projection layer (i.e. lose a life), so you could actually get a game over on meat circus.

I find Meat Circus to be actually not too bad. There are only a few parts that I think are truly annoying.

1) Protecting little Ollie. Nobody likes escort missions, and this is no exception.

2) How to get past the knife throwers is not very clear. Some people get stuck at the first knife thrower just because they don't know what they are supposed to do with them.

3) THAT STUPID F***ING FLAMING SPIRAL.

4) THAT STUPID F***ING FLAMING SPIRAL.

5) THAT SUPID F****ING FLAMING SPIRAL.

(Note for flaming spiral: remember that you can jump out from the spiral, then double jump, THEN hover. It's a lot harder if you try to do it with just the double jump.)

But really that's about it. The rest of meat circus is actually pretty alright and is a really interesting and kinda fun level. That last grind rail is amazeballs, and that last ladder that you have to go down in order to go up...??? That sh*t is so rad!

It's not that bad. I never found it that hard. I'm pretty sure there's some Psychic powers that make it easier, but I forget which ones.
