Any great 3D platformers for PC?
Rule 1: Has to have a good PC port.
Rule 2: No Indie games, looking for official games.
Rule 3: Thats all.

Yeah I am aware of that, but thats not the topic at hand.

"Rule 2: No Indie games, looking for official games."
then the answers no. AAA is all about cod clones, faux horror, and stealth games. you should know this already.

Psychonauts would be a good start since you don't own that game.
PS: Your second rule is stupid :P

psychonauts- indie.
tiny and big- not a platformer, and indie.
trine 3- not 3d. frozenbyte is indie.

First of all, F you.
Secondly, if you have nothing usefull to say,say nothing.
Thirdly,OP has no idea what he is talking about since he is called indie games "unofficial" games.
Tiny and Big is a 3D plattformer with puzzles.
Trine 3 is a 3D plattformer.
There are quite a few good Sonic games on Steam.

If someone posts in a game forum on steam without owning the game it usually means that he pirated it so steam being a weirdo.

If you want 3D plattformers get a Nintendo console.

I said no Indie platformers cause they always have that one theme, abstract surreal art, I don't want a art show for hipsters, I want platformers like Sonic Adventures, Super Mario Galaxy, & Psychonauts.

Probably get my head bit off in this thread but how about Alice: Madness Returns. Its 3D, has alot of platforming elements and was published by EA (you can't get any less indie)

EDIT: Also check out Max: The Curse of Brotherhood

trine 3, is NOT 3d. its a 2d game with 3d backdrops. not 3d, not even 2.5d ( aside froma few small areas that are 2.5d)
ive completed tiny and big, and it is NOT a platformer. its lame as hell too. you walk around slicing bricks, theres hardly any puzzle element to it, and definitly no "platforming" its also, indie to the max. trine is indie too.

thats so ridiculous. there is no sense in checking peoples libraries to see if they own a game. as i said they could own it on gog, humble bundle, origin, uplay, or on console even. none of which have communities as large or active as steams. not to mention steam family share.

I don't own the game cause I don't have it, YET, I wanted to come up with a list of games before I do though.

Trine 3 is a 3D plattformer! It's not 2D and not 2.5D.
If you have any (indie) 3D plattformer recommondations then say them here,so far you did nothing but complain.
Leonard Mar 11, 2016 @ 8:15am
You can get Psychonauts for like 1$ when it is on sale so it is definatly worth that price.

Of recent games that are already out, Cloudbuilt is easily my favorite.
Mirror's Edge is good, too. (DICE/EA)

The genre's a bit sparse, though. I don't care what Patrick says, I'll play anything so long as it's good.

Then there are some good looking ones that aren't released yet:
Yooka Laylee
A Hat in Time
Lucky's Tale (subsidized by Oculus Rift/Facebook, so probably avoids Patrick's dreaded "indie" status)
Poi

I've got the beta for A Hat in Time, and I definitely like what I've seen. I don't want to get too far into it before it's done, though.
