then the answers no. AAA is all about cod clones, faux horror, and stealth games. you should know this already.
PS: Your second rule is stupid :P
sonic- he said Great platformers, not terrible ones.
psychonauts- indie.
tiny and big- not a platformer, and indie.
trine 3- not 3d. frozenbyte is indie.
Secondly, if you have nothing usefull to say,say nothing.
Thirdly,OP has no idea what he is talking about since he is called indie games "unofficial" games.
Tiny and Big is a 3D plattformer with puzzles.
Trine 3 is a 3D plattformer.
There are quite a few good Sonic games on Steam.
If someone posts in a game forum on steam without owning the game it usually means that he pirated it so steam being a weirdo.
If you want 3D plattformers get a Nintendo console.
EDIT: Also check out Max: The Curse of Brotherhood
ive completed tiny and big, and it is NOT a platformer. its lame as hell too. you walk around slicing bricks, theres hardly any puzzle element to it, and definitly no "platforming" its also, indie to the max. trine is indie too.
ahh yea, good one, +1 for alice madness returns. especially if youre into dark twists on fairy tale stuff.
i could list a dozen 3d indie platformers. but they wont make the cut.
If you have any (indie) 3D plattformer recommondations then say them here,so far you did nothing but complain.
Mirror's Edge is good, too. (DICE/EA)
The genre's a bit sparse, though. I don't care what Patrick says, I'll play anything so long as it's good.
Then there are some good looking ones that aren't released yet:
Yooka Laylee
A Hat in Time
Lucky's Tale (subsidized by Oculus Rift/Facebook, so probably avoids Patrick's dreaded "indie" status)
Poi
I've got the beta for A Hat in Time, and I definitely like what I've seen. I don't want to get too far into it before it's done, though.
