Glitched boss. (Solved)

Im currently fighting the blueprint brain tank and i cant beat the second phase where the brain is on its own. After i get the hp to 0 the hp bar disappears but the brain keeps jumping around doing attacks and itself is still hitable. When i attack it it leaves some random fx permanently on the ground and the controls lock up as if the game tries to load into the cutscene of defeating the tank but it just doesnt happen. I tried re entering the stage via smelling salts and also tried to restart the game both things didnt fix it, anyone any ideas if anyone even still looks at steam forums for psychonauts.

Edit; Solved, if anyone runs into the same issue try verifying the game files, a single file seemingly was corrupt and after steam downloaded that file it worked as intendet.
