Linux and logitect f310 controller
Hey all just got the game during the humble bundle and to my delight found out it works on linux. thats cool and all but and it seems i can't het my controller to work. i've tried to edit my profile and at first it seemed to solve it but now the camera is rotating again.
LookUp_Alt=JoyRotY
LookDown_Alt=JoyRotY
LookLeft_Alt=JoyRotX
LookRight_Alt=JoyRotX

thats the patch for the spining circle right?

I also noticed thruogh looking into things that this game had a gamepad patch to it right? i even looked for voodoo man and tried to see if his patch could help.

i use ubuntu 16.04 lts

i'll keep trying something but i'm no expert in linux

If all else fails, use xpadder, it's a program that allows any controller to emulate a keyboard, which is especially useful with games that aren't directinput compatible.

No need to use xpadder. Steam lets you map standard Xbox360 controls to basically any gamepad. Go into Big Picture mode, go to the Controller Settings, enable Generic Gamepad Support, go to your library > Psychonauts > Manage Game > Controller Configuration > Browse Configs > Templates, choose Gamepad, apply and you're done. Your Logitech F310 should now behave like it's an official Xbox360 controller. I don't use Linux, so I can't guarantee that it'll work. No harm in trying though. I'm currently playing this game with a DualShock 4, no problem.

thanks for the replies at least. i think it works better when i plug the controller in after it starts but nothings constant.
