Glitch in Gloria's Theater

I'm using Mac to play this game. In Gloria's Theater I have this problem where I can't move away from the portal because when I try to move away from it, the game thinks I'm entering the portal again. This glitch occurs in the second set where the dead dragon is. When I enter the portal in the third set I appear at the left top portal which is the one that's glitched. I have to jump down from the hill to get to the portal at the bottom left so I can get back to the 1st so I can get to the catwalk and defeat the phantom. :(

Right now I'm stuck and can't progress.
I hope there is a solution. :)

This is happening to me too on a Mac.

I solved this by using the smelling salts to teleport out of the level. When I came back, the same set was on stage, and I was able to both progress and collect the figment at the top of the set.
