Yeah, it was just a little surprising. It wasn't even like a reveal or anything. They just showed her face as if we haven't always kept that hidden in previous games. Out of the context of the series and how the camera has always framed her.. its nothing special, but to suddenly change this long established trend with no apperent reason...
