Ramming + Small vision is annoying
In the beginning you could see a lot of the battlefield but somehow now you can only see a small area, which would totaly be fine in the beginning BUT later, once the bigger ships arrive this is just annoying imho.

As they can easily lock you down by ramming you... also you get pretty much damage from ramming any ship...

So if i die in the game late its because i didnt see a bunch of Dreadnoughts coming in and rushing accidentially right into them... as you cannot "skip-port" beyond them or rush through which is obviousy as they are MASS, you should at least maybe be able to see them coming?

Yes, I've lost many runs by getting cornered :( Being able to zoom out would be great, if possible!
Hey!
Thanks for the feedback.
I'll definitely look into a better solution for this.
Both the ability to see whats coming a bit better. Potentially a threat radar could solve this.
And limiting how much enemies can "block you in".

Zooming out any more might cause some issues of seeing enemy pop-in and potentially some performance issues especially on wider screens. But its not entirely out of the question.

I'll be looking into these on the build up to the next major update.
Or, maybe instead of a threat radar, just a colored blip at the screen EDGE just to show where enemies are not yet visible? If you see a huge angry swarm of red dots on the left side of the screen, okay, maybe try steering DOWN instead of left :)
The problem is simply one of "the large enemy ships are dumb and you have no counter to them"

They simply get as close as possible/collide/you have no way out of that.

If they're so much tougher that they won't die before you do - we need MUCH better weaponry to kill them before they can do that

If there's just suiciding - that's not a fun mechanic

This is the most promising capital-ship 'survivors' I've tried yet but the moment the bigger ships arrive it becomes frustrating and not that enjoyable

Some serious rethinking needed

Also - being able to reverse is quite funny but feels silly :)
