Honestly is it worth?

This is for people who only own the game i dont wanna see opinions on people who are jsut reading the reviews etc.
I am a huge FF4 fan and i played this once i think and forget everythign about it (which i prefer) and the gameplay looks similar to FF4, now honestly is this game worth buying in its current state/ are there game breaking buggs?

Yes it worth it , 14 hour so far in it and i only see improvement. Everything is better.
This is the best version of the best final fantasy.

I've been playing the SNES version and this one on my sons laptop side-by-side, I say no. This version's UI is terrible and detracts more from the experience than the sprites ever could.

It's a good game, by most means.
The presentation might be a different story depending on your viewpoint, but the game itself is definitely worth playing.
And the storyline? Worth it. Music? Worth it.

It's just the interface that's mostly inconsistent with past versions of the game, and the character sprites might not be very encouraging to those who loved the original version either.

If you're willing to look past all that, you should be in for a pretty fantastic JRPG experience.

The TAB Left UI is actually better than the SNES one, on the PC with a controller.

Added to that all the other advantages of this version, and the low price, it's hard not to recommend.

Considering it has the most superior music would have been enough for me (something they neglected a bit with vanilla FF7 for instance).

They still left the same musical mistake from the Android port's startup screen in this version, though.
But yeah, it's nice that you can at least change the battle interface.

Changing to tab does little, the commands are still all over the place, the potion, magic etc.. menu blocks the view. The SNES was simple, all commands in one place, quickly accessable. This version take 2-3x the time as the snes to do spells, use items etc...

While I don't like the default menu, I leave it active as it is much quicker to change character in fight compared to hte Tab menu. Having no button to shuffle through characters in fight is a pain with Tab.

A big bothering point as well is that there is still no way to quickly run through inventory screens.
Have to go from top to middle every single time I want to change equipped Espers.

Overall still the game I love, but "improvements" not made in the right areas.
