Brave New World
By far this is my favorite final fantasy of all time. Ive loved this game from the start. Seeing it on steam now is pretty cool, although ill say im not much of a fan of the new GUI/Art. However i was wondering if anyone had heard of this .... http://www.insanedifficulty.com/board/index.php?/files/file/66-final-fantasy-vi-brave-new-world/
Ive used this on an emulation i have since its WAY easier to just boot it up on the computer rather than trying to hook up and old school nex to my tv. The mod is absolutly amazing! ... My curiosity is this... is it possible for this mod to be ported over to this verson on the pc?

Just had a look at the features and I have to say it sounds good.
Particularly the "new esper experience"
That always bothered me some to be honest~

that mod can't be ported over. it would have to be rebuilt from scratch as the resources are goin to be drastically different.

i have played it, it is an excellent mod. there are ALOT of great FF6 mods fro teh SNES version only. there are no mods fro any other version of FF6 because there was no point in devleoping them.

that said, the mod itself is well documented and you could probably put together an effort to remake it faithfully. the question is.. has there been any work in reverse engineering FFVI yet? up till now it was a mobile game so people tend to play those vanilla style. it is only now on PC so the doors are open for real mod work.

PC has so much more potential so we could maybe inject some cool stuff into the game like higher/lower res graphics, new sounds etc.

I recen reworked UI, new difficullty options, removal of texture filtering, addition of downsampleing, added dungeons with secret bosses for fun, these thing's would be qutie excellent.

There will be no real modding unless they decide to decrypt the game assets, or someone manages to hack the key.
