Definitive walkthrough?
I'm still undecided about whether I'll play this "blind" (it's been a decade, I imagine I've forgotten a lot) or try for a "perfect" game. If the latter, can anyone recommend a good, comprehensive walkthrough for a 100% play?

I'd say go "blind". The hidden stuff will come back to you naturally as you play.

I'm going to tell you I could finish this game whilst actually blindfolded.

Quite a few of the hidden bits I keep notes about. But the point A > point B of the game start to finish I could (and have many times) do in my sleep.

At the half-way point you will have to pick a path with 3 separate parties which vary in difficulty if I'm correct.

Thanks for the link, Killzone, but can you comment on whether any of those walkthroughs is any good? Also, this version is based on the GBA game, right? So either a GBA or mobile walkthrough will work?

Does this guide cover all missables? Including rages? I've played this game more times than I can count and I'm hoping to finally get a "perfect" playthrough this time around.

All the packs are listed per area as you grow through the game, so if you encounter all of them listed, you shouldn't have any issues with the Rages. For the rest, he explains pretty much every area in details, so read through it and it should be fine.

http://www.gamefaqs.com/snes/554041-final-fantasy-iii/faqs/35118 is the Rage walkthrough he did, but the names of monsters are from the ps1 version, so you'll have to google a bit for the new names.
