How to target Blitz attacks?

Hi I am playing for the fist time FF6 and I enjoy it so far. Sabin has joined the party and I have been practising his Blitz attacks. I execute them correctly but after the input and the confirmation of Blitz the game auto chooses who Sabin attacks. Is there a way to choose target manually? I am playing with keyboard. Thanks for your help!

If you use the "auto attack" feature after he inputs a blitz you can "cheat" the game and he will use the last blitz entered. ;) That way it's not so bad having to re-enter his inputs over and over! Rising Phoenix early off without any hassle!
