ive just got sabin in my party and i looked up the blitz patterns but i dont understand how to do the diaganel arrows because im using arrow keys is there a way to do it that i dont know about ive looked everywhere please help

You press the two directions closest to that diagonal simultaneously.

FF6 PC has support for multitap and 8 way directions.

you have to do the combos 1 arrow at a time, unlike quickly with the D pad on the SNES. Key presses are remembered, so as long as you dont rush the keys ull be fine.

You dont have a time limit like you did then.

I don't know if it's my Microsoft Xbox Elite Series 2 controller, but diagonals are practically impossible to get it to register properly. The keyboard does work but it's clunky. I resolved this problem by using iCue to record macros for each of the Blitz's using the keyboard and assigning one blitz per key. Nice and easy now, and I never mess up.

The game lets you cheat and just do an extra compass direction input to count as a diagonal. Try doing these EXACT inputs listed below.

Aurabolt
down + down + right + A
(The 2nd down here would have been a diagonal down-right)

Fire dance
left + left + down + down + right + A

Air Slash
up + up + right + right + down + down + left + A

Phantom Rush
left + left + up + up + right + right + down + down + left + A

Go forth and cheese all the inputs!
