Espers?

So I got the first four Espers from Ramuh. But the esper menu has yet to pop up on the ability section. Do I have to wait a bit longer before I can equip them or is my game basically glitches? Any responses would be great. Thanks

You equip espers on the main menu, the square next to their lvl, hp, and mp which probably says "not set"

To access espers, you move onto the character portrait panel within the menu (as if you were going to change their row) and click on the additional "window" that will either say "not set" or "empty" or something. It will then send you into another sub-menu to do all your esper assigning. It is not a menu item amongst the right panel options. Hope this helps.
