Blitz Issue --'
Hello, I've run into a problem. For starters, (Sabin's blitzes), "Pummel/Raging Fist" works perfectly fine. However, I'm trying to input "Aura Bolt/Aura Cannon" and it doesn't seem to be working at all. Last time I checked for this blitz you were allowed to input "Down, Left, Left" without a problem.

This is frustrating because I love to use Sabin during my runs of FFVI.

Is there some other direction I'm supposed to input that the keyboard doesn't contain? Or is the input for this version of FFVI somewhat different? Thank you very much.

Down and slide left was what I knew it as. If you aren't using a controller try down, keep holding down and hit left, then hit just left. Or just down then left.

All right, I will give it a try. Thanks a lot. :)

In this version some blitzes keys needs to be pressed slowly. If you press the keys too fast as you do in fighting games, the game will not register it. In fact you can even press every key without time limit.

Try:
Down, Down + Left (use 2 fingers and press them together), Left. Be sure to look at the screen if the "arrows" do flash the correct way every time you press them. And remember, you dont need to do it fast.

Well no time limit on Wait. On Active, you have to be reasonably swift. But luckily controllers can swiftly input button presses. But if you do make a mistake, cancel and retry.

You were never able to input Aura using button presses it's 1 fluid motion. It has been like that for every version since Snes. Same goes for all of the other ones that use quarter clockwise or quarter C. Clockwise swipes.

Well using an Xbox Controller, you can do Gale Blade, Rising Phoenix, Aura Cannon and Phantom Rush by doing the necessary rotation as long as your rotation covers all the buttons in the pass. I know because I was able to do it when I played.

The Snes version you could double tap a compass direction to cover any associated diagonals, but I didn't cause sometimes it wouldn't pick it up correctly.

Actually, I have been playing the game for over two years, and I can assure you it IS possible to perform the blitzes using button inputs in GBA, IOS, AND SNES, because I've been doing that all this time and never had any errors, thank you, though I am fully aware there are multiple ways to input the blitzes. Anyway, thanks for the help guys. :)
