How to Lore?

So I'm at the part before heading up to the Floating Continent, and I would like to learn some of Strago's Lores, as they can be handy. However, I do not know how the blue magic mechanics work in this particular FF. Can someone please help me?

It is simple. All you need to do is have Strago witness the spell and survive.

When a Lore spell goes off, regardless of target and effect (hit or miss, damage or healing), you will learn it when:

- You end the battle in victory
- Strago isnt under Blind, Zombie, Stone or KO after battle
- The Lord isn't on your card

What do you mean by that?

I think he meant to say;

"The Lore isn't on your characters card data sheet" - Or he could have said "If you haven't already obtained the Lore"

Wey, as easy as that sounds, when I tried it out, I thought I managed to obtain 'roulette' via the Veldt, however this wasn't the case...

Yeah it was a typo. It was meant to say, the Lore isn't on your card as in you haven't learned it yet.
