I have the 2015 version. Do I get the 2022 version?

Like title says, I bought this game a couple of years ago.
I see that this version is no longer available on Steam. However, I was just wondering if I,d have to REBUY the game in order to take advantage of the rework of the game.

The information may already be somewhere but I may have missed it.

Nope. Unfortunately, having the old mobile versions isn't a free ticket to get the Pixel Remasters for V and VI.

3 and 4 are still listed and will probably always be until they do the 3D REMASTERED VOXEL REMAKE ULTRASUNSHINE FF3+4 ADVANCED DS, which im sure is coming and I will assurely buy.

yeah i just checked and it was an article that said maybe because it had been like that for other games from them

As far as I know square has NEVER given anyone who owns a previous copy a remaster, they didnt do it for me with Dragon Quest, they didnt do it for people with Final fantasy 8. Square is not that kind of company they want the money.

Which is ironic because they should release kingdom hearts here and stop with epic exclusivity, I'm not buying those games on that platform if you are listening square. I wont. Put them here.

Thanks for all the replies. You guys were WAYYY nicer than when I asked the same question but on the "NEW" FFVI page's forum.

I guess I'll wait a bit before buying the shiny new version then. I feel like this game will be awesome once I get the Steamdeck rather than playing it on a desktop.
