Trouble with AWR/Atma Weapon Installer

Figured I start a thread here, since the devs don't seem to be active on their guide page. To keep it short: I can't get the mod to work to save my life and ultimately get rid of the horrendous "remade" sprites.

Whichever preset I choose, be it AWR, NOS, Hybrid or Classic. None of them replace the mobile port sprites. The mod seems to be installed correctly (sort of) from what I can tell, because it says "A world reborn" on the splashscreen, and on some presets the font gets replaced, but other than that, the game basically stays the same as the Steam version in terms of visuals.

Troubleshooting doesn't get me anywhere either, as the installation instructions basically only tell you to choose a preset and that's about it.

Uninstalled FF6 a bunch of times and started over again with each preset multiple times, so clearly there must be something obvious I am missing. If someone could give me hints as to where to start troubleshooting, I would be very thankful. Cheers.

So just go to the "Releases and Tools" sub channel in the discord in the FF6 channel

invite seems to be expired. Is file in Mod Indes the newest version or should I still join Discord? Thanks for all this nice work, just bought FF6 gonna hop on nostalgia train as soon as I figure out combination of mods :D
