What does stamina do exactly?
I never really looked up what each stat does, I assume speed or magic is what it says but vigor and stamina confuses me.
But yea I thought vigor mighta been something to do with agility but strength sounds even better thanks for the info.
So far I maxed edgar and celes with speed, and cyan, but not sure what I should do for Terra, Gau and strago, plus the rest (the ones mentioned are my favs to work on so much to do for gau/strago)
Really wanna get all the rages this time, play the anthology version on PSX but I might buy the steam version if the mods are good.
Probably was removed.
They even removed the merit award being equiped to gau in the anthology version, I guess cause it made him OP, like genji/offering didn't lol.
Magic Power overall has a huge effect on most characters, especially Terra, Celes, Sabin, Strago, Relm and if you plan on using Gau for Magic attacks. Or you still have 2 Kazekiris and you want to Wind God Cyan everything.
Strength is more for Locke, Edgar, Mog, Shadow, Cyan or if you want to Stray Cat, Bogy or Gold Bear wreck everything with Gau.
Speed helps in almost any build for obvious reasons
Stamina doesn't really do much.
It was removed as of the GBA version. Wind God Gau using Stray Cat was incredily broken back then.
Strength gives an additive bonus to a component for physical attacks. It doesn't have as much of an effect on physical damage as Magic does, but for characters who use primarily physical attacks, raising it can still help out quite a bit.
Speed helps out on anyone, but it also doesn't really help out all that much. It's completely inferior to Magic as a DPS stat for magical damage, and while it theoretically can help out more than Strength for physical damage, in practice it gets hurt a lot by the time you have to spend commanding other characters. If you've already maxed out magic and strength, then you can consider raising this.
Stamina grants an extra saving throw against most instant death attacks, and increases healing from Regen and Tintinnabulum, but also increases damage taken from Sap and Poison. It's pretty much completely worthless as a stat, never mind as a stat to raise.
