Not everyone plays games for the same reasons. I wouldn't do it, but options don't hurt anyone for single player games.
Dude I don’t care about achievements. I was playing this game when I was eight back in 94. Also I bet this game way back on the SNES at min level of 22.
I’m not interested in trophies or reaching for things I did over twenty years ago. I just want to enjoy the game at my own pace
But I can't see it being hard to get your gil value with Cheat Engine tbh.
I don't need to because I use an actual paid subscription cheat site for trainers.
If you search for FFVI trainers in Google I would imagine it would be one of the top results tbh.
Yes, that is the site I use. Have done so for years with a lifetime subscription.
Their trainers for the high end stuff are generally excellent.
For this game for instance, the entirety of your in-game troubles are taken care of with the ability to change your gear with the equipped gear editor.
Having Ribbons and Paladin Shields on your entire party right at the beginning of the game might take the challenge away for some. But I like it.
And the Paladin Shield teaches Ultima of course. So an hour or so into the game you can just breeze through everything.
Where's the table of which you speak? I'd be interested in peeping at it.
Just do it the old school way, get a turbo controller, a regen ring, and find the loop on the Lete River and leave the game running for a few days. You will have 4 lvl 99 characters and lots of gold.
I knew that trick when I played it on SNES.
